As the largest live music festival on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, the annual Carolina Country Music Festival will be enjoyed by locals and visitors from across the US. Headliners for the 2024 fest include Carrie Underwood, Old Dominion, Morgan Wallen, Parker McCollum, Lady A, and many more of country music’s top performers. This Myrtle Beach Boardwalk event kicks off on June 6th. Onsite food and beverages are available, or try out one of the nearby restaurants on the Boardwalk.

This Independence Day tradition is one of the most patriotic events on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. The annual flyover includes F16s from the Shaw Air Force Base, Military C-17s, and privately-owned vintage planes. Watch from anywhere along the Boardwalk and other surrounding beaches. Costumes and festive red, white, and blue attire are highly encouraged. Salute the flyover with family and friends, take a photo and share it on the Salute from the Shore website. This is a great activity to show your support and your patriotic pride!

Fireworks are a beloved July 4th tradition in Myrtle Beach. Watch this year’s fireworks from the 2nd Avenue Pier or the adjacent Boardwalk. You can also bring your beach chairs and blankets to view the fireworks from the beach. The show begins at 10 pm, but we recommend getting there early to enjoy all the Boardwalk has to offer.
Bring your lawn chair to this Myrtle Beach Boardwalk event for two days of wholesome fun. The Waves of Praise Gospel Fest is free to attend and features outdoor concerts, food vendors, and lots of family activities. The gospel concerts kick off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday and at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday with an exciting lineup of live music until 11:00 p.m. each day.
